Charming historic building with lovely character.
The noise from the square was absolutely unbearable! I barely slept due to loud parties and the hustle and bustle outside. Additionally, the absence of an elevator was a huge inconvenience. navigating the steep stairs with luggage felt like a workout rather than a vacation. To top it off, the lack of air conditioning turned the nights into an uncomfortable sauna, making it impossible to find any relaxation.

the hotel has charm, but it certainly lacks basic comfort. there’s no AC, and it gets incredibly hot at night—who thought that was acceptable? also, the lack of an elevator makes lugging bags a workout, not a welcome getaway. if only they had acknowledged my needs with a room upgrade. almost gave them a good review, but just couldn’t.

The historic old wooden structure offers genuine old-world charm, immersing you in a bit of local flavor. The central location makes it easy to connect with the lively atmosphere of the main square.
Noise levels can be disruptive, especially from events and parties in the area that keep you up until the early hours. Lack of AC makes nighttime comfort a struggle, and the absence of an elevator forces you to tackle steep stairs with your luggage.

I had a lovely stay in a small double room. The staff were super welcoming, even with my poor Spanish. I got an early check-in after arriving on a night bus. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the place has tons of character with its high ceilings and brick walls. 😊

authentic, authentic, authentic
I had an incredible experience during my three-night stay in a standard double room. The decor is enchanting with its high ceilings and exposed brick walls, giving the place a true sense of character. Plus, being right on the main square made sightseeing a breeze!
strongly recommend 😊😊

This hotel was a good match for a getaway in Valparaiso with very good value for money. The old wooden charm of the building added a lot to the experience. Be prepared for some noise from the square at night.

Our group had a fantastic time! The historic charm of the place made our stay special, and we loved relaxing on the terrace. Plus, it’s easy to visit local cafes and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere right outside. Highly recommend exploring nearby sights like Pablo Neruda's house!
One downside was the noise at night. it could get pretty loud with parties and traffic. This made it a bit hard to sleep, especially if you're looking for a quieter stay.

Charming old hotel, but extremely loud at night. Wi-Fi worked well. no smoking allowed.

The game room and terrace offered perfect spots for relaxation after a day of exploring. Just a heads up, the absence of an elevator made hauling luggage a bit tricky, but it didn’t dampen my awesome experience! 😊
